ACJL’s + Elderly= Good Time with Bingo!

Tuesday afternoon, Allen County Junior Leaders traveled to the Wyngate Retirement Community to play Bingo with some of the residents. While sharing popcorn and fruit punch almost 10 students assisted their new friends with their bingo cards as they shared stories about their past, their family’s, and how they were feeling. We spent the afternoon laughing!

This winter with one of our calves!
[/caption]Hi Everybody! My name is Katie Feldhues, Mark’s Program Asst. this summer! I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself!
Originally from the Cincinnati area in East side’s Clermont County, I currently am going into my senior year as a Youth Ministry/Sociology major at Ohio Northern University. I love doing anything outside from bike riding, horseback riding, camping, swimming and boating! That’s why I have spent the last 2 summers working at camps. This summer, I have decided to return home to 4-H, an organization that I was only a part of for a few years in high school but that quickly became my entire life. I enjoy working on projects and hanging out with youth, answering questions regarding 4-H stuff and general day-to-day life stuff too. I have one ultimate favorite project- HOGS! I would give anything to have summer days in the barn with my pigs! Mine were super spoiled with marshmellows and I even trained them to do trick every year. I couldn’t help it- I was attached to them!
I am VERY excited to be a part of the 4-H team this year and can not wait to meet everybody! Please stop in and say hi at the new office at the fairground any time between 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday and help me get to know you all.
